If it’s helical the internal diameter and the rod it works over as this diameter will become smaller when the spring is at work. Also the leg position and how they attach to the application keeping in mind that one leg will shorten slightly when the spring works.

Button Clips

Button Clips are a great way to be able to adjust the height in setups where you have two tubes sleeved one over the other.
Clip No. 17005 will suit any internal tube size from ½” (12.7mm) to 1” (25.4mm) and has one single button 6.3mm diameter x 7mm tall.
Clip No. 9-11-1B will suit any internal tube size from ¾” (19mm) to 1 ½” (38.1mm) and has one single button 9mm diameter x 11mm tall.
Clip No. 9-11-2B will suit any internal tube size from 1” (25.4mm) to 1 ½” (38.1mm) and has two buttons both 9mm diameter x 11mm tall.
